For some reason, lately, I just haven't been having any thoughts that I felt were worth blogging. Maybe that's just because I've been spending my free time reading One Piece so I don't want to take the time to blog. Maybe it's because I've had the obnoxiously long-lived remnants of a cold hanging over me. Maybe it's because I went back to school. I don't know.
I've been dreaming more lately. I don't know what that means - maybe that my sleep is more disturbed than usual? But it's been a parade of goofy moments - losing to my friend in a card game, driving a car I've never owned through a supernatural thunderstorm, going on a date with a fictional character... nothing interesting enough to think too hard about, but interesting nonetheless.
As for anime, I've kept up-to-date with quite a few shows. Xam'd: Lost Memories is looking like it won't resolve everything, though episode 25 covered more than I expected it to be able to; Clannad After Story is moving so fast that I wonder how they plan to fill the last 10 episodes when it feels like they have 5 episodes of material left; ToraDora's new OP and ED are good; Blade of the Immortal has somewhat redeemed itself in my eyes (the Noto Mamiko character helped a lot); Tytania is not quite as good as it was before, in part because they killed off my favorite character and in part because the animation quality has had some serious dips lately; Toaru Majutsu no Index isn't making much sense lately; Akikan continues to be amazing; Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai is - actually, dang, I could've blogged quickly about this - decent, but man, the show is animated in the style of the 2003 OVA while the ED looks a lot closer to 2009. There's something to be said for the way it looks, but I'd rather have the whole show look like the ED. Oh, and finally, Kara no Kyoukai 5 was good. I'm gonna be thinking about that for a while.
So I guess this is what a "short" blog post looks like from me. I also might have some new images or writings to upload soonish. Maybe those will come with shorter associated blog posts.
