Here we have an image with a slightly odd backstory. It was drawn by my good friend TheDiabeticKnight in vectors by tracing a particular Skies of Arcadia wallpaper. Then, I colored it, using the wallpaper as a reference, but changing a few things for stylistic reasons. I think it's sufficiently different from the original to have its own worth though. Also, I experimented a lot in this picture with textures and things. With some fancy Photoshop CS brush-tweaking I got the cool textures you see in her hair, cap, and shirt, and if you look closely (or zoom in) you can see how I also applied a subtle texture to her jacket and skirt.
